Choosing a pair of boots for winter is all about finding a really snug and warm option. Tanneries are also notorious for causing severe air and water pollution which is damaging to the environment and the health of those living nearby. Workers in the leather industry are often exposed to these dangerous chemicals sometimes without any protective clothing or even shoes.
