For good causes: All profits go towards 6 different struggling charities per event.
Simple: Swap goods for tokens, swap tokens for goods
Cheap: Entrance is a manadatory donation to the charity of your choice on the day!
Fun: A chance to pimp your closet & sip free bubbly!
You can swap new or very nearly new clothes, shoes, accessories or new unwrapped perfumes.We will give you PIMP TOKENS based on the quality of your goods which you then \”buy\” other stuff with!

In April 2010 two local ladies will be attempting, along with other members of Sunderland Partnership, to climb Mount Kilimanjaro - the world’s highest free standing mountain.
All the money raised will go to North East charities Grace House North East Children’s Hospice and Friends of Derwent Hill as well as the African Blackwood Conservation Project.
Help them reach their fundraising target and enjoy a girly night with your friends at their Swishing Party and Drinks Reception which will be held in thePlace, Sunniside.
Tickets are £5 which includes a drinks reception.

SWISHING COMES TO DARLINGTON

A fashion event with a difference. This event combines swishing with a silent auction. Clothes, bags, shoes, jewellery, scarves, accessories and more. Everyone welcome. Swishing/Bidding starts at 2 pm Entry fee of £2.50 includes tea/coffee and biscuits. Swishing proceeds donated to MacMillan Nurses.

Guests are asked to bring at least three good quality items of clothing. You will be given a voucher per item, to exchange for a new item. The event will run between 1pm-3pm. Entrance is £3 or you can make a donation for £3+. Refreshments will be available to buy too.

charity frock swap in aid of Arthur Rank Hospice Charity. Tickets £5 plus optional £5 donation. can be purchased in advance by calling 01223 723 115. Also available on the door. guests may bring up to 5 items clean and ready for display, including party dresses, eveningwear, vintage items and accessories, and can take away the same number of items. There will also be some stalls, massage and a tombola. Guests are welcomed with a glass of wine and nibbles. from 6-7pm arrival and clothing deposit, from 7-8.30pm browsing and trying on, and from 8.30pm is the exchange itself! Great glam girly night out! Replenish your wardrobe without spending a fortune!

Spring Clean Swap and Alter day

Clear out your wardrobes and bring them down to Fabrication for a big old clothes swap, pick up someone else’s cast offs and then learn how to make them fit you and feel loved again.
You will learn how to take up hems, adjust waistbands, stop gaping and other hints and tips
Donate up to 10 garments or accessories, they must be good quality, clean and pressed, and take away the same amount you bring, anything left over will be taken to the local charity shop.
Cost to join in the Swish is £3 and to take part in the afternoon alterations session is £15.
Refreshments, but not lunch, included. You can also just come along to either part of the day

The Dermalogica store is hosting an evening of clothes swapping packed to the brim with good quality fashion finds! Just bring along four (or more) items of quality clothing, shoes and handbags you no longer want. Leave behind one item and swap the rest! Your item and everything else left over from the event will go to stock local charity shops in the area, so you’ll be doing a good turn too!
